    • Software used; AutoCAD R.14 for digitizing, Microstation for GIS

  • 1999 - ARD-GOLD (USAID) Project
    • GIS Applications; Real Property Tax Information System & Minimum Basic Needs

  • 2001 - Creation of PPDO-GIS Unit
    • To address the mapping requirements of the Provincial Physical Framework Plan (PPFP) and of the Municipal LGUs in the preparation of their CLUP
    • To create a venue for data storage, sharing and maintenance
    • To take advantage of GIS technology in its role in the planning process

  • 2003 - Restructuring of PPDO units
    • Augmentation of personnel for the newly created Project Development Unit
    • GIS unit was reduced to 2 personnel with an addition of a freshly hired newbie thus is the current configuration
    • Main activity is to address the mapping requirements of clients and projects to include, the Local Poverty Reduction Action Plan (LPRAP) and the GTZ Water Program
